Any information as to how many ILMOR-powered boats are there? I heard that there would be five in the water, and I see that there's at least one Outerlimits on land. Who's on site?

Ilmor Marine Diesel page
It's based on the Italian VM Motori engine. Roger Penske owns controlling interest in that company.

I saw Ilmors in a Sunsation I think, and that was it. They had a couple of V10s, and several LS motors in the booth in the CC.

Outerlimits had Ilmor 725's in the new SV 43. They also were introducing the redesigned website. Nice booth and great looking engines. http://www.ilmor.com/

They would need at least double the cubic inches for that much power.

Hustler also had a 39 with 725's there.

There's still more in it. It will run 120+ no problem when were done dialing it in. Props to Ilmor for building such a fantastic motor and outdrive. I am proud to say my boat is powered by Ilmor!! It still amazes me that my boat with 650's can run 110+ every day!!

OL40 is the "new proud owner" of the first OL/Indy/650. The original owner now has the 43SV with 725s/Indys.

Gotta love Illmor engines, funny how the Viper has poor mileage compared to come competitors but then marinize the motor and it gets noticeably better mileage then the V8s lol.

I have a pair of these engines from mercruiser in front of xr drives in my 32 hustler and they perform pretty good and running nice .
I spin 34 bravo's to 3750 rpm wich gives a topspeed of 72 mph every day

very happy whit them .
