ILMOR V 8 - 522 HP - 7,4 l - CATALYST
looks like to be the cleanest High Performance Marine Engine |
Just needs the appropriate stern drive to go with it. The Indy would be a bit overkill. Keep them coming, Ilmor!
|
It should come as a package with the ASD#6 kit or a smaller indy that can run B1 props and/or 16"-16½" cleavers.

Very Cool!

hmmm couple of these in a Formula 292 or Pantera 28..........
|
right now they are going on mastercrafts, so either v drives, or straight shafts. but they do look nice

522hp
Beautiful Engine..!! Love It.. !
|
Since these are setup for Inboard ski-boat applications with transmissions, what would it take to get it setup for a Bravo XR setup?
|
It's my understanding that a regular SB/BB bellhousing will fit the LS-series engines. Since Ilmor is planning to introduce their own recreational stern drive in a year or so, I doubt if they're going to offer a Bravo conversion kit.
