With normal 32 AT options, I get an average retail of about 53k. That does not include the trailer value. NADA also does allow for many upgrades that ABOS will. It does not take into consideration the fresh power.

I think when I checked mine before I bought it, it was about 60k avg retail.

IMO, they are both low.

I think the 65k is definetly a very realistic price. When I add all the options, it's right at 60k & then figure the cost of the trailer, so, I'm thinking I should be ok with the value. I also am sure the survey will help justify it. The boat definetly appears to be in very good shape. Spring needs to hurry up & get here, I certainly am excited about closing the deal on it.

I also keep looking at other boats, & I find that I continue to try & talk myself out of it, I just missed a deal on a 28 Pantera, so I just need to stay out of the classifieds...:D

BTW Griff, what year is your 32? You have any pics online?

NADA isn't close, neither is Buc in many situations. I think the more boats that exchange hands through dealers/brokerage the closer they are... the newer the boat is it probably gets closer too.

For example, try to look up Donzi classics from the 80's, then tell me where you can buy a 22 Classic with a Big Block for under $10k.

It s a 1997 with 2000 502mpi's and Stellings boxes. I bought it in June. There's a few pics floating around, but not too many.

That's a fine looking boat....Do the boxes help alot?

Never ridden in any other 32's, so I don't know for sure. They were installed when the boat was originally built. It had big power when built. The engines are also moved forward a foot.

Sounds like this boat might have had a transmision set up. What did AT say? have you asked them. Boat looks great in the water.

It had 1.36 Bravo's when built. Original owner put about 100hrs on it then traded it w/o power. Second owner that I bought it from, had the dealer(Ocean Performance) install new 502mpi's when he bought it in 2000. It still has the 1.36 drives. I think they just moved the engines forward to move some weight forward.

I saw the part about boxes installed from the factory after I posted. Dumn stupid me for opening my mouth.

1:36's. I guess it did used to have some pretty big power in it to turn those.

I bet it cruises great.
