Young Boaters Insurance
 

Who out there will insure a younger person, 24, on a 1992 31' scarab thunder? I have tried many and have been denied for my age. Who can help me out here?:angry-smiley-038:

Had a similar problem when I purchased my first boat, call t" NATIONAL MARINE UNMDERWRITERS ? 1 800 262 8467", the best thing for insurance is to have it under your home owners policy, but if you were like me you have a kick ass boat and no house.

I used John Posey at Total Dollar - I was 26 with a Cafe Racer with Blown 600's. They insured me at a much better rate than anywhere else was willing, but I have never had a claim, accident, ticket, common cold, hangnail, etc..... PLUS I was over that "25" year old hump.

It's obvious your to young to have a boat, but you are in luck, you still can go to war, pay taxes and drink beer.

State Farm will insure me on it.

Kinda wierd that non of the "performance" insurance companies will.
