Young Guy Need Financing
Im running into a problem for finanicing since i am young. I am only 22 but have good credit around 700. The boat is a 2002 fountain fever. The guy wants 64,000 and im putting down 14,000 so i would need a loan for 50,000. Any ideas of where to go?

Give me a call and we can discuss your options. Kyle |
I may have somebody you can use. I am 24 and just purchased a 00 29 with the exact same money you are talking about, same down and everything and he got me approved. Talk to Kyle first, I like to support everybody on here first, but if that doesn't work I can give you my guy's name.

Don't kill yourself on the rate - In that price range the difference between 8 and 6 % on a month to month basis is hardly anything. I would have loved to give it to a guy on the board, and this isn't a knock on their business because everyone seems to have great experiences with the lenders that frequent this forum, but sometimes I just think that being in person and explaining everything and them putting a face with a loan helps. Good Luck Eric |
Hmmm
It all depends on (verifiable) income. Credit matters zero if your income can't support it. And if you only have 14k down, sounds like your best option might be to pick a little cheaper boat. Age has nothing to do with it. 700 is 700, but if you have little information on your report, or not enough history, it will be tough (for a reason). With a cheaper boat, you will have just as much fun and have less to worry about. I know we all want the biggest and best, but we should also remember that just becuase you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD. But, most people don't choose wisely I'm afraid.....:hitfan:
