Will a comprehensive auto claim affect getting boat insurance and the rate I would pay on a go fast boat?

A comprehensive auto claim should not affect your boat insurance. When most insurance companies run your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), they are checking for moving violations which can have an affect on both securing marine insurance and the rates you will have to pay.
