Total Dollar has been working on that issue and will make an announcement when available. Our reinsurer is hot on extending the Full Throttle Program throughout North America.
In the interim feel free to call me and we can try and guide you to alternative resources.

Wow... ok... lol. You asked me why and I honestly told you their reasoning behind them not writing in Southern Louisiana.... Trust me, I hear you and AGREE WITH YOU! Like I said, it's the carrier, not our agency. If I could write there for this one particular carrier.... WE WOULD. With all of our other carriers... WE DO! So, it's not like our agency can't write there, we just can't with this one particular carrier.
We have ZERO authority over their guidelines and often times (like this one) their reasons don't make a bit of sense. But at this time, there isn't anything we can do about it. Declining accounts due to location doesn't help us write policies and therfore doesn't make us money.... so I don't support their decision, especially when there is no solid evidence to support the decision they made.

You just happen to be in the middle!!

Hey Hot Pursuit thanks for the plug you have been added to the cool people list! Yes unfortunatley insurance companies seem to make irrational decisions sometimes but as stacy said we, as the agents, do not have the final say in their decision making process. If we did these polcies would be much less restricting (regarding navigational area) than they already are.
As soon as I get the power back in the boat Ill be looking for that cool people price!!
Thanks Keith

Hopefully they wake up sometime soon. They are missing an opportunity to write a lot of good business in Southern Louisiana.

No worries. I understand where you are coming from too. It is very frustrating all the guidelines, costs and unwarranted decisions insurance companies make sometimes with no logical reason behind their decision.
