Total Dollar has been working on that issue and will make an announcement when available. Our reinsurer is hot on extending the Full Throttle Program throughout North America.

In the interim feel free to call me and we can try and guide you to alternative resources.

So, it's not like our agency can't write there, we just can't with this one particular carrier.

We have ZERO authority over their guidelines and often times (like this one) their reasons don't make a bit of sense. But at this time, there isn't anything we can do about it. Declining accounts due to location doesn't help us write policies and therfore doesn't make us money.... so I don't support their decision, especially when there is no solid evidence to support the decision they made.
Stacy i totally understand and just venting out loud about the screawing that performance boaters get compared to any other coverage!!
You just happen to be in the middle!!

Ill be talking to you guys soon!! I need a marine surveyer in this area that meets the requirements.
As soon as I get the power back in the boat Ill be looking for that cool people price!!
Thanks Keith

No worries. I understand where you are coming from too. It is very frustrating all the guidelines, costs and unwarranted decisions insurance companies make sometimes with no logical reason behind their decision.

Hopefully they wake up sometime soon. They are missing an opportunity to write a lot of good business in Southern Louisiana.
