Maybe a slower I/O cat? Nice 80 mph Eliminator or something like that? Just a thought. Probably better to just bite the bullet and pay the high insurance if a cats what you want. Some good deals on 36 Spectre's and 35 Motions out there.

I'm still working on your quote. You really don't have many options for carriers that will write #1, in your area, #2, with no CAT experience, #3 under 30. You still have options but not the same amount as the guys on here who have owned CATS for years. You're stepping into something that most carriers won't consider without prior CAT ownership experience.

I will email you your quote when I get it from the carrier, should be today or tomorrow.

If you are concerned about the cost of insurance (which with a CAT you should be) :) here is where you start:

Under 75mph top speed for a year or so. Then, after you have a year loss free, you can step up to something that runs under 95mph top speed. Then you can get up to 130 from there.

Unfortunately, your location is actually a big problem as there are really not many CAT carriers wanting to insure. So if you are over 75mph, there are not many inexpensive options. The 75mph CAT and under is actually pretty inexpensive in comparison.

So selling the Powerplay and jumping into a 35 Motion running a lil over 100 is prob not a wise choice? Stacy what would a rough # be for me? With my info you have now is it possible to think around 3k ?

I guess my plan to have a nortech with 850's next season is out....

Lmk what you come up with for the spectre.
