i wouldnt be buying a boat on a 15 year loan specially an older one makes no sense. My opinion if you have to stretch that far you really can not afford it.

I was reading through this and was going to say just that..I used State Farm for my 87 Formula only bank I could find that would touch a boat that old

I have tried to use banks several times,found out most of them won't touch a boat over ten years old.Got financing for our 32 fountain thru key bank it was over 10 years old did have to get a survey.Now they won't touch boats. Credit union or cash seems like the only way on a older boat. Just my 2 cents. JOHN SR
