I am 40

First performance boat

40 Skater with 2200 HP

$12,000/year with layup

Tres Martin required.

Will be about $8,000 year 2.

Not difficult to get, just stupid expensive. (Wozen and Dollar is where I would start)

I would bet that boat (the OL) would be $6-7k/year for me, and $4-5k for a guy with experience/history.

Aren't the deductibles crazy as well? I guess if you can afford a boat of this caliber the insurance should not be a concern!

There is nothing cheap about those bad boys!!! Beautiful boat !!!

WoW!!! That is crazy!! But I guess the guys who are financially blessed don't worrie to much about this! I was looking at a 38zx, never thought what the insurance would be! Glad the seller went from 150k to 170k, that was a deal breaker, already thought the 150k was to much then he raised the price because he re- did the upholstery! I kinda laughed at him and told him he was going in the wrong direction!

Does that mean he gets an huge discount seeing you know it will be problem free :D

Discount

He would get a 10% discount if he upgrades his OSO membersip to Gold or higher, belongs to NJPPC,PBN,or FPC.
I would also like to mention that for the first 2 claim free renewals there would be a 5% per discount.I guess that answers the discount question.

that or your loaned up to the hilt on it. lol. I think it goes both ways not sure on the percentage, but for as many guys that can straight up afford it, theres plenty that take out home like mortgages for these boats, not so sure that being able to afford it in my book.
