Default Anyone insure a mid 80s boat that goes over 75mph?

I currently have insurance with Allstate .
I would like to insure it better, they will only do Blue Book which is about a 1/3 of what I have in it..

Not a Stacy fan, if you don`t have a boat she can make $$ on you get blown off.. sorry that`s my take on it form several exchanges.
She can`t insure mine.

Mine too. My local agent does a LOT better than Stacy. She is not the only agent for the companies who insure boats she makes money off the people insuring them.

I agree 100%. She watches the forums and sees what you pay for your boat and quotes the same prices your agent gets from Foremost and other companies but only insures your boat for what it cost used. I will transfer all my insurance on all my boats and other things insured away from the companies she sells for and makes money off of if she ever goes there again with me.

Wait! You mean she doesn't do it for free?
That's just down right wrong!

I don't expect it for free, but when she waits 2 weeks to get back to you and when you already have it insured for what you have in it with upgrades you have done to the boat. Then she quotes you the exact same price you are paying for the boat and upgrades from the exact same company you already have the boat insured with but only sets the dollar amount to what she thinks you paid by watching the forums NOT counting the thousands of dollars you have spent on upgrades that make the boat more valuable, it is pretty insulting.

I have no problem with my agent making some money. We have 2 homes, 5 cars and trucks, 3 boats, 2 side by sides insured with my agent. I damn sure hope she is making money off me. I used to work for her father when I was 8. His Daughter who is my agent is the manager of his insurance company now. I am 49 years old. If they insured homes in KY I would have 3 homes insured with her. No games no insults.

I can provide what I have it insured for and her quote weeks after I already had it insured if you want to see it? I am not FOS, I have the proof 100%.

Thanks for making my head hurt trying to read that mess.

I'm just busting balls. It just struck me as funny.

Sad but true. Take an ibuprofen. You will feel better. A forum is for sharing experiences and helping each other not get the shaft.

Sorry made that somewhat easier to read for you VC.
