Anyone know the cut off for motor size/hp for Geico ? |

I believe that it is 500hp

I remember last year them telling me they have a max speed of like 65-75mph somewhere around there. I think the HP is more based on the boat itself |
I haven't checked with them in years - but my experience was about 500hp and <70 mph max.
I don't know where you are located (which doesn't really matter), but last year we went with Wagoner Insurance Agency located at Lake of the Ozarks. We met him (Chris Wagoner) last year at the Shootout and he rode on the boat with us,. Sat in the bar at the Clevelander a few years ago with the Geico group.....The consensus was a kitchen table with a 300 hp clamp on was ok to 90 ie:bass boat. A go fast to 70 was about all they could handle. It was all about claims history....
