Are there any good options out there?
Hi. I am currently with Foremost. I just opened my bill. Got it a couple of days a go and it is due December 9th. Not much time to shop. My premium jumped from about $1,800.00 to $2,200.00. Been with them for 3 years. No claims (knock on wood). Went up $150.00 the first year, $178.00 the second and now almost $400.00 this year. I know our hobby is expensive but man. The best part is I only used the boat 6 times the first year, 1 time the second and 5 times this past year LOL. 58 year old with good driving record. 2000 43 Scarab AVS with triple 500 efi's. And the boat has a governor on it (my wife LOL) that usually limits top speed to 50 mph. Any other options?

I've been w/ Foremost for quite awhile. Went up 20% last year, can't wait to see what it does this year. I have shopped around too & haven't got much better quotes for less coverage :angry-smiley-055:

Thanks 28Cig, Called yesterday & it's a no go. How they come up w/ these prices for insurance is beyond me. 80mph 25 yr old boat insured for $75k comes out to $2300/yr? WTF. But boats valued at $150-200k are being insured for similar prices or cheaper?
