Theres a yellow 35 with twin evinrudes by my house, charter boat. Looks great! This different hull or just platform added?

Dueclaws 09-01-2009 06:50 PM

That's a good question; from what I can see the hull looks longer.

27daytona 09-01-2009 11:47 PM

I think it is the same bottom as my boat, John. I spoke to Jack about these CC's a few years back. He had some impressive speeds which I can't remember and cannot relate to since I have limited experience with outboards. I do understand that they run everyday, what a concept! Sorry to read about your sitting out the season. I have had a great year with about 6 weeks left, the Jag has been flawless. The motors are due to be freshened this winter, no changes, just rings and bearings. Doug

Dueclaws 09-02-2009 07:36 AM

Hi Doug-
Jack has two versions of the fishing cat: 35 and 37. I thought that he stretched the 35 to make the 37, but maybe he just added the platform.

Happy to see that you had a fun season.
We missed boating this year!
John

Awesome boat! Lanier Marine is doing the rigging. Really nice fishing machine, Very Fast!

Corsa 31 08-09-2010 08:25 AM

It is sold. I was following that boat when it was on boattrader. I wanted to sea trial it but was told it was winterized. Then the broker informed me it sold without a sea trial. That was not the truth i see now. Any others out there?

Took delivery of 37 open fish in June of 2010

I took delivery of a 37 open fish with twin Mercury 300XS outboards. Great boat. Very smooth and useable speed. I would consider serious offers if some one is looking to pick one up.

Very nice. How is it in the open water? What does it run with the 300XS's?

Philm 12-27-2010 10:02 AM

I really like these boats, but wonder how wet of a ride they would be running offshore. With no real bow flare, I would imagine that they would run quite a bit wetter than a similar sized vee bottom center console.

johnrobot 12-28-2010 02:00 PM

The ride is much smoother then a deep V and the max speed is much easier to maintain because you are not getting beat up.
Still dialing in as I did not use it much this year, but easily did 68 MPH with out trying so 70 MPH should not be a problem and maybe into the low 70's once optimized. The amazing thing is it is faster then my old Donzi 35 with triple 250's and uses about 1/2 the fuel. It is amazingly fuel efficient.
Been to block island twice this year on days no one else showed up (hurricanes passing by) so I guess it can handle offshore seas well.

johnrobot 12-28-2010 02:05 PM

The boat rides on the last step and the stern for the most part so the spray line is at the rear of the console so it is generally a very dry boat. If the seas are high (6'+) and the wind is high and you are traveling with the wind off the side at 90 degrees, it will spray into the boat. Side curtains could easily cure this. Generally most people do not run in these conditions anyway.

There's one around here in Lauderdale/Pompano area I've seen. Awesome boats, crazy money though lol.

JaguarMarine 08-17-2012 12:52 AM

We built a total of 6 off of the 35' hull template and 1 single step 28'.
We have the 35' prototype hull but it needs to be rebuilt and it is not a core hull. All of them are twin engine configurations. Give me a call to discuss.
Thanks,
John Clarke
