Matt, I really am not trying to hide my boat, I am so bad at posting pics. I have had my second outing last weekend and I am reasonable sure that my bad luck has changed to good and I promise some pics after this next weekend. I ran the Sacramento delta over the weekend and all was fine, however I left my camera in the Topkick. I will be in the Sacramento bridge to bridge speed run this weekend and will post pics of my boat but I assure everyone it will not be the star of this event. The fastest boats should run through our downtown at over 150 m.p.h. I will be shooting some good pics of the event. Hopefully a shoot of the Jag at speed. My specs are 900sc, stelling headers, #6 wet speedmasters, Huber trans spinning 31 4 blade merc racing props. Go to the poker runs west web site for more info. I do really like the boat. Doug

Doug-
What gear ratio is in your drives and what are your engines max rpm? My drives are 1.5 and I'm trying to decide which props to use.
Thanks
Due

Due, My gear ratio I believe is 1.30 or possible 1.25. Sorry I cann't tell you for sure. Max RPM is 6000 with the limiters set at 6500. My best speed is kind of uncertain. I expect somewhere around 125 and have seen 116 on GPS. I'm only driving the blowers 1 to1 at 5lbs. of boost, no chillers, very conservative so hopefully the motors will live. This is a very heavy sound boat but at speeds of over 100 the wind as you know is uncomfortable in an open cockpit and the windscreens usually blow flat at around 100 mph directing the wind right into your face. I'll take it through the scales tomorrow and weight the trailer and boat. The trailer weights 4900 lbs., Myco has the tag on the tongue so even a poolman like myself should be able to do the math and figure out the boat weighs rigged and with fuel and coolers. Have you found a paint shop? How is the project going? Will you splash this year? Someday I will fly tru Houston and I'll contact you to check out your Jag. If you ever want to boat in Northern Cal. contact me and I'll make it happen. Good luck. Doug

Doug-
Thanks for the ratio info. After seeing your prop size, I thought you'd have one of the ratios you mentioned. I've found a paint shop, but they're booked until October, so the boat probably won't splash this year: unless it's December! The other rigging is continuing.
Let me know your boat's weight; it'll be relatively heavy because Jag builds them strong. After mine is weighed, I'll post it. Jack told me it was around 10,000+#.
Thanks and look forward to meeting you some day.
