Updated pics. The best 28 we've built and seriously for sale. I would make somebody a smoking deal , especially if they boated on Lake Lanier or close by. We also have a brand new Tyler Crockett 700 efi for sale.

Awesome! That's the best looking 28fter I have ever seen! We did the Lake Lanier Poker run in 06. Where you there?

Brian, If one were to drop a 496 in there, would you still need the scoop. I'm thinking a sun pad for the OL would work better. Also, what kind of speed with 425 HP ?

P.S. The whole thing came out sweet !

Once again thanks again for the compliments , it means alot to me and David (genious).

CMC:

When I ran F1 w/ a 500 efi the boat ran 79 mph at 4625lbs. I've never had a 496 in our 28 but I would think middle 70's as far as speed. I always put the scoops on because the bigger motors always needed air and plus they look cool. We can certainly build engine hatches without the scoop.

Mat:

The last Poker Run I did on Lanier was 2002 in the TG. Thanks for all you've done for me!

What do you think it would run with 501 crankshaft hp and prepped as it sits with full cabin?

Can you PM me a number for the boat?

Thumbs up

Looks great! The no nonsense bow design & interior look real sharp. Is there going to be some type of wind screen installed?

She came out great!
How about a sun pad that goes around the scoop?
I think that would finish her off nicely...

Yep that will be done next. The hatch is inlayed so the pad will not stick up in the air. Thanks!
