If you don.t mind me saying, don't waste your time with a small block. Sure its fun and puts up a cool roost but with jets, there is no replacement for displacment.
When I was a kid I had one, and being a gear head I had a dozen motors in it. Everthing from a nitrous 350 to a 500 caddy motor. Even a couple from the bone yard, paint and chrome does a lot;-) Have fun though, that's the point isn't it?
