Take a look at the acceleration specs page in the middle of powerboat , and the Lavey is even more impressive- It out accelerates (it actually spanks) the twice as expensive Outerlimits and nearly everything else.
Uncle Dave It won against the three boats in its class in every category. The Fountain came close, but it had 1075s and was 1300lbs lighter. The Nor-Tech was downright sluggish in comparison, and Mike Fiore had to be crying in his champagne when he saw how bad his 2000lb lighter boat got beat. Reggie probly ripped the rug off his head and stomped on it. :D Every boat it beat was much more expensive except for the E-Ticket, Spectre and Ultra cats. I called Jeff and he was positively giddy about the numbers. I've been reading these performance tests for ten years and I don't remember when I've seen such domination from a V bottom that big, with that little power. I don't think it's ever happened to be honest. Talk about your cat-killer, the EVO is the one!! :D And I think if it had 1075s it beats the Fountain in every category. Just a great job dialing in the setup and getting hull dynamics right. Lavey has got a winner here for sure!! Oh did I not mention the awesomely beautiful paint job? |

Uncle Dave I would like to know how Laveycraft accomplished that feat. Plus the time to plane of 5.3sec left every other V bottom in its propwash. This boat reminds me of the fast and quick Profile boats that Randy Schultz built back in the 90s. |

Even more impressive was the OL ran 39" props, which gave it almost 5mph more top speed, but it weighed 2500lbs LESS than the Evo and the Lavey still ran away from it up to 100mph.
