24 Nuera
I have been looking at the 24 Nuera and dont know very much about the brand or the boat. How do they ride and how big are they compared to a Nordic Rage? I have a baja h2x and I am needing something with an open bow but I dont want to give up any size or ride, not that H2X has a great ride I just dont want to go down from there. Thanks in advance.

24Nuera
I had a 2007 24 Nuera with a 710 Ilmor. The boat ran 93 and was so easy to drive that my kids could run it. It is a big 24 and would compare to most 26's. The build quality is at the extreme top end and if I didn't have so many grandchildren I would still own it.
I sold it to a guy in australia in january of 2010 and he is still excited about the boat. By the way, I got another larger Lavey, a 2750. PM me if you have any questions. Quent |

I have not really been looking at any particular one. I have just recently stumbled across the model and really liked it. I was really looking at the Nordic Rage but for what I want they are a little out of my price range. The Lavey is right where I need it to be as far as price and looks go. I just dont know anything about them. I appreciate the responses and info. I will definetly have to take you up on that offer some time this summer. I wish there were more of these west coast boats out this way because they are nice boats.

Quent, how did your 24 do in chop?
|
The 24 NuEra does great in the chop!
Lavey actaully had two of them race in POPRA P5 class. They both won a few races... http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/k...gg22/HBoso.jpg |
Pro, "how did the 24 do in chop?" Answer: WFO, 93mph.

Wow, thats impressive. Its all I can do to keep my boat right side up at 90 in smooth conditions. Well this is the direction I am definitely going to move in.
