That’s amazing how you guys get the deck of the boat to look like a mirror without a single ripple. Came out awesome!

Came straight out of the mold that way! An easy color sand and buff and it's got a perfect mirror finish!

What happened to this project? 99.99% sure that boat is listed for sale on boattrader without rigging.

But reading that add it looks like it went to Marker 17 Marine as I suspected. Not sure what the outcome is going to be with the boat.

***edit***
Basically the same add as the other one but it's also actually on the Marker 17 Marine website.

Too bad it didn't get finished...
and at that price... it was less then half that to build it... Maybe the Germans will buy it up.... they sure love the 28 EVO

Ya...And it’s too bad that whoever had it modified the bottom because they think they could make it better rather than just actually learn how to properly drive a Lavey...

so someone modified the bottom before is has ever been finished or floated??? strange....!!!! I don't get it... there are 5 or 6 of these 28's out there and someone modified it without running it first? there are so few people who have every run one.... SMH

Default Little secret from the source

The boat was sold to a friend of Bryan Forehands. That is why the boat is at Marker 17. For those of you that don’t know who he is look up any Successful Fountain or Outerlimits Kilo boat in the last 20 years and he had his hand involved. He is the one who has done bottom work on the boat to make it turn. For those of you that think the owner needs to “learn to drive a lavey” I can tell you I have been maintaining and driving the original orange race boat for over 5 years now. We had the bottom of that boat reworked also. It is a far different world driving them in a straight line on the river and running them in racing conditions and navigating tight turns. Anyway. The blue boat is still brand new with no holes in it. It has had the bottom modified. The person I sold it to was going to rig it but had the chance to buy a outerlimits he had been trying to purchase just a month after buying the Lavey Craft. This is the only carbon laid lavey and will definitely be super fast. It is no question in the hands of one of the most qualified men on the planet to make it a record setter.
