Default Hydraulic Steering at the Helm

My 29 New Era closed bow has an Imco external hydraulic dual ram configuration. I am looking to make it a full system to the helm. When I look under the helm, from the cabin, I notice there is not much clearance to mount the Eaton Hydraulic Steering Valve. Can anyone tell me if there are any special modifications, like cutting out fiberglass, to make this work?

Still have the Telefelx. I had to do some other upgrades last spring so hopefully I will attack this upgrade this winter.
