RPM 26 Redline By Lavey Craft - Twin 400R

First test run went GREAT and we couldn't be happier with how the boat turned out!

Testing conditions at Elsinore were not very good with 102 degree weather and a whole lot of seadoos and jet skis.

We had 75 gallons of fuel in the boat and 4 people. With the Mercury CNC 33 pitch props the boat jumps on plane very quickly with minimal bow rise, acceleration was very strong, boat leaned in through all its turns, no porpoise that I felt, bow carried nice and perfect. After I gave it a couple laps around the lake to get the feel for it and its handling characteristics, I ran it up.

First speed run I got it to 105mph and backed down due to traffic, but it got there very quickly and effortlessly! Next speed run it ran 112mph @ 6500rpm and again, got there very quickly. Based on those slip numbers and if we ran it all the way to 7000rpm it'll run 120mph with those props. Later in the afternoon it got really windy and surprisingly Elsinore got pretty rough. Running through the common 2' lake chop the boat ran through it at 100-105mph extremely comfortable!

Overall we are very pleased with everything and right off the trailer it ran amazing! We will be doing more testing with hopefully better conditions.

Beautiful boat.

Then again, that's what I expect from Lavey :) My '98 21XCS still rocks!

Impressive performance potential here. The color and material choices really stand out in the sense that they're so understated and still cutting edge luxurious. The biggest pleasant surprise is the ivory looking gelcoat, instead of the so common bright white or pearl white. This boat personifies the rare salute to the best of timeless ol' school Cal Kustom graphic looks, and the latest in high-performance boat design. This gotta be so much more fun to run than almost all 35' plus twin mega horsepower I/O cats. Hat's off to Joe M. & Chris C. with Team! Look forward to the dialing in of this cool boat. Haven't been this stoked about a hyper-performance 26' since the mid-'80s and the Stoker 26 SST.

Bad ass! Very bold color choice but Lavey Craft knocked it out of the park bringing it all together! I absolutely love what they’ve done to improve the boat over the original RPM design and layout! One of the best fit and finish I’ve see come out of any manufacture. Plus that gel coat finish beats any external automotive paint any day of the week! So clean, durable, classy, perfect.

I bet once dialed in completely with a top end prop on the boat it will be 130-135mph!
But with the all around setup prop for daily use, 120mph is perfect!

I’m happy to report the customer up in Washington while boating in the Puget Sound is extremely happy and everything has exceeded his expectations. 113mph at 6800rpm with 90 gallons of fuel on his first trip out. Congratulations!

With LaveyCraft not currently in operation, are RPM Redline cats being built by another west coast boat company?
