New Video w/ Go Pro HD..

Not offshore, but cool nonetheless.
These are a couple vids of my new GoPro HD camera on my Allison. The first has a few bursts up to 75-80 mph and is from various angles, and the second tops out at 105, while mounted on the side of the cowling looking down at the gearcase.
Oh yeah, be sure to click the HD button.

Nice. I had one of the first gen ones and didnt like it because I never felt like i knew it was working.
I really am impressed with the new motorsports HD. 60 fps is awesome.
Which one do you have? Did you edit this vid at all.

These were also just the 30 fps and only the 720 setting. Only negative is there is no viewfinder, however they are supposed to be coming out with a "snap-on" LCD screen with a new housing door.
This was my first run with it. Now I need to upgrade to a better editing software and maybe even the video card in my computer.

The Motorsports kit come with a suction cup mount, which is what I used. It also comes with a handful of "sticky" mounts but the suction cup is much more versatile. As far as the setting I think these were in the 720p wide angle setting.
I also tied a small piece of rope to the mount as a lanyard just in case...although I'm pretty sure it won't let go.

Make sure you get a good quality Class 4 or better SD card. I found it does make a difference.

20 minutes sounds about right. I bought an 8 GB card and it should yield between 90-120 minutes. Depends on the setting too. Staples had the Ultra Sandisk 8GB cards on sale a couple weeks back for $29.99 which is normally $50.
