Hey Captnate,that Cig.rings a bell with me.I remember a fellow that used to Antagonize me to no end on the race course so i guess the name fits,just kidding.Say hello to Roger for me and sure am sorry to hear about his son.I really think if this thing in Chatt.comes together Roger should be Grand Marshell for the event.

I am Mag27's daughter. I did the PR work for our Magnum racing team...Vixen Offshore Racing.
I e-mailed Giovanni at the Magnum Factory and let him know what you guys were up to. I told him that I was writing on behalf of all you Magnum guys and asked that he consider showing up to the function. Furthermore, I suggested maybe commemorative t-shirts of the occasion as well as an award for the best refurb or something. We'll see...he never turned me down before.

Great news, thanks for the help, hopefully Magnum will contribute to the reunion. I also sent the sales department an e-mail but have not received a reply. We'll see if they step up. I figure if I don't hear from them by April, I will stop by there during the weekend of the Miami race and talk to them about it in person.

Lets find some ways to get the word out, Maybe Magnum would advertize it on their site or Poker Runs America, Power Boat Mag., Other Sites... We should get a block of rooms set up for us or a sign up Sheet for a count... We could set up a Tele-conf. to talk about ideas and how/who will get things off the ground. Oct. will come fast. I'll help with anything... Lets start a Club and get some Officers selected among the us. We should set up at a National Bank account for Deposit Only for club dues to get some funds going. Sponcerships to follow...

Sorry to hear about Roger's Son, Sad.
Been over his house ands shop on the Bay/Brick many times years ago.
What is is shop called now?
Roger was always ahead of his time when it came to making a Magnum go faster. Glad to see that he is still doing it.

Heard back from Katrin Theodoli of Magnum Marine...
She is having some short handed issues and sends apologies for not having been in touch with things involving the Owner's Club.
She has visited this site and read the posts from all of you and wrote that she was touched. She sends her support for the reunion and is asking that I help with this.
If you want help organizing this event, I will gladly assist. Dates need to be secured soon so that hotels can be solicited for discounted group rates, secured parking for the boats, and banquet rooms reserved.
Ideas need to be brought out for an agenda.
A theme of sorts needs to be agreed upon so that we can forward that to Magnum for some banners, t-shirts, hull decals, etc. I think Katrin would be willing to go for some of that stuff.
I'll ask her about adding the info to her website but I don't know who does her web updates so that may not be a possibility. I might consider doing a website if you're all interested.
