sweet ride welcome to the family...........
|
WOW...you guys really know your stuff. I did buy it on ebay out west however they guy I bought it from really couldn't give me any straight answers which lead me to believe he never used it. I got some info from Magnum today they didn't have much because it was so old but they did tell me it is a 1974 Magnum 28 with a a tangerine hull and was equipped with Mercury 280 engines. I think they meant outdrives not engines. and what is so special about the hull.

NICE boat!!!! I haven't had mine over 2100 rpm's yet it was in the shop for two months fuel pumps, water pumps, Imko aluminum exhaust it sat for a long time before I bought it and the carbs are a little gummed up. the guys at the marina told me my port drive dosen't have revers and forward would go out soon if I did't replace the trany. The way I see it if it goes forward it should go in revers right? I hoping its just a cable adjustment.
