Hull # ID Question, Magnum/Aero

I'm looking at a boat Friday which is supposed to be a Magnum. What would a Magnum hull ID start with, how about an Aero. Thanks!!!

My 1973 is MAG272490173

Hull #249 made in January I think.

Given example below....
I believe all should start with: MAG
Followed by length: 27
Then hull #: 249
then month: 01
then year: 73

If the dash is still there it's pretty easy to tell if it's a Magnum or an Aero......good luck.
