I know it needs a better prop, but I am waiting till I finsh the new engine before I worry about propr selection.
I hope to have new engine ready by mid april. Then I will worry about it.
I think there is a name change and a paintjob coming soon. Depends on it I get my other boat that I am loking at. Not that the name is wrong. Most people like the name. There just doesn't need tobe 2 boats with the same name running around. Are you keeping the same number? I was going to leave the numbers on the boat the same.

Jeff,
If the bow is soaring in the rough , the crosswind just makes it worse - In rough water , the B1 keeps it level - add some weight up front also - Then nothing stops it -it flies straight and level -
I will be keeping P5-38 but not sure if we are keeping the name -
I have a few goodies for sale - A fresh set of 320 cc Darts flowing 390 cfm - also a port matched Dart single plane intake - Also have a roller cam - perfect for 540+ inch - solid roller with mellow ramps for valve train stability -
My buddie also has a 1050 + 4150 style carb and dart intake (ported ) for sale (he went with a blower ) .
LEt me know if you need anything else -

Ran it saturday with this one.
Had it up to about half 3/4 throttle. still same prop that the old engine was spinning at 4000. now it is at 5000 with room to go.
Have some timing and fuel issues to work out before I try to open it up.
Looks awesome though.
