27 Mag sport (deck hardware)
 

I sent pm's to a few Magnum enthusiasts asking, whom might help me obtaining 2 engine vent grilles for my sport deck, it's proving to be quite a difficult find. Forgive me if I'm posting
in the wrong place, trying to reach more by posting here. Also, can anybody tell me the diameter and lenght of the bow eye for a 27' mag. sport??.............Yup, she's missing that to.

i know it sounds crazy but did you try magnum marine, i have found several items for my sedan when visiting the shop. if not they will tell you who manufactured them and you might get lucky getting them made up. just a guess

Hey J, There website (forget if it was the old one or new) had them pictured, but was told (presently) no longer stock them. I will press them for a better answer when I call them as to where & how I might obtain them..........Thanks

I was talking to Bill [olredalert here on OSO] and he said there is a place here in Algonac that has the bow lifting eyes, there the same as a Donzi. I will find out more info, and let you know.

Bow Eye Lifts
 

The Bow eye lifts are the same as the ones that Attwood sells,except they are SS vs.Chrome over Bronze.
Also Magnum does not have parts for older boats...the ones listed in their web site are for the big boats. 50 ft plus.

Hey Bud, It was great talking to you the other day, thanks for taking the time. Amongst all the other stuff needed, 2 more thing come to mind (1) Where can I get the "Magnum Logo"
afixed to the rear hull sides port & starboard. (2) My 27 sport is missing the front bow eye (trailer hookup) what diameter & length do I get?....I imagine it being a standard item.

Last time I checked they still had the stickers for the 27 on the Magnum Marine online store have you tried to order them?

I can measure the bow eye and take some pictures when I go down to the Mag tomorrow.

Thanks Jeppe, That's what I'll do, go over to their site and see what I can get accomplished. I would imagine the bow eye can be purchased
at a good Marine supply store once I have the measurements....."Nice looking avatar you got there Jeppe!! ~ that would look great on a cap
or T-shirt not to mention the hull side.

Here you go they made many of the parts used on Magnums & Donzi boats, :drink: mabe even the Mag vents. They do not come chromed you will have to find a shop to do that.
