Good find High Life,, only one Sedan was built in 1988 and this is it, but it came with 320 efi small blocks. But that engine info may be wrong, this one has big blocks & looks to have came this way. The rear engine hatch looks to have been raised up, as that would be needed for the wider stance of the big block. With 454cu & Bravo drives this Mag should run, and the price is right. Also looks like they added a brace in the floor of the engine compartment. Im still looking for engines for my Sedan, but this Mag is tempting. :evilb:

Here is a pic of both transoms, [old, & newer] see the difference. I have seen used Mag engines selling for 5k, in these times you can get the whole boat with Bravo drives for just over 6k. :drink: http://www.boattrader.com/listing/19...uiser-96551639

I like the railing next to the windshield, good idea should keep the plexi in one piece. "HIGH LIFE"

Those engines are too new to be 88's, plus the exhaust hoses look like they are bent slightly inward towards the centre of the engine. Perhaps exiting through the original small block transom holes. Maybe it did start life with 320 EFI's and either Alpha SS or Bravo drives.

The engines do have a newer crate motor look. But the drive centers are far apart more than I have ever seen, making the need for a raised rear deck. Like what was done on the Starfire Mag with big blocks. True it could have had efi small blocks, one transom templet fits all.
In 1984 20 gray Sedans were built for Bader Al Mulla with twin 440 big blocks, & needing the new raised rear deck. Buy 1988 sedans were one of Mags so they could have any power combinations..
