Looks like Short Circuit is on the auction block on E-bay. Wonder what it'll bring?

I bet the reserve is up there as he spent big $$$$$$ on the engines when he bought it, but in this market ???? Woz what happened to the Double Trouble Mag I take it you sold it. I see it's for sale but the engines & drives are missing.:eek::eek:

That was one sharp looking boat (Double Trouble).....thought it went over seas? I like the Magnum center console too by the way....

sold it 3 years ago. called on it a while back, was told drives and motors were getting powder coated and refurbished willing to sell with or without power. I see the mirage went out east......

I hated to sell the Mirage but I was working a deal on a new boat. That deal went south after I sold the Mirage, so I picked up a Magnum sport that I'm going to restore. What color is your CC Mag ?

Its red, may have been in your neighborhood at one time.... Bought it off a memmber on this site

I get tons of bottom feeders from eBay.....pretty frustrating.....

Short Circuit has a new home. It's heading to Reno Nevada...Gonna miss her....

I replaced with a 47 Fountain...What a difference to tow!

Jim I dont sleep much. BY day I'm always doing something on one of my 4 offshores boats, or by night writing stories, or buying parts on ebay , & craigslist. :lolhit:

The history was the attraction of "Short Circuit", I got intrigued when I saw it listed on Ebay. After some discussion with JETFIXR we worked out a deal and I purchased it sight unseen. I have to say he did an awesome job on the restoration, it's not over restored.

We'll be out on Lake Tahoe again tomorrow to test her out now she's got new prop's for the 6250' altitude, it'll probably the last nice weekend of the season, overnight temps are due to hit freezing next week.

It'll be a long winter, but I've got some classic car projects to keep me busy.
