http://s375.photobucket.com/user/jge...t/1st%20cruise Having trouble loading pics to the forum so I posted a few current ones to Photobucket.

Launched the boat at Waukegan harbor last weekend and I drove it for the first time. It has been almost 4 years to the day since I started restoring this boat, what a blast to finally drive it! I haven't completed the upholstery yet so it was a little hairy to drive in rough water with no seats.... The guys at CK motorsports had it running 85mph after a bit of prop testing and said there is plenty left in it, couldn't be happier with the LS3 motors. Next step is a bit of interior teak work then down to Florida for Fineline Marine to tackle the upholstery. Should be done just in time for our wonderful Chicago winter...

Tell us more about the LS3s. Cam head work?
Should be knocking on 500hp without much effort.

Texas Speed built the motors, they used comp cams marine spec cams, cnc heads, all top notch internals. Motors are 550hp, throttle response is really awesome.

Jeremy, no reason to bring it back for ice boating.Just leave it down there and we can put a few break in hr's on it for free in Feb. & March., I'll even cover the gas. Bud
