single or twins for a 28 magnum
#5
-----I guess I have to ask,,,what are the stringers set up for now??? If they are solid and the boats a twin now,,,why change. You will have to do major stringer work to re-arrange things, as well as transom holes, etc. Even changing the "X" isnt anywhere near as invasive. I am an admitted twin guy cause I like to make it back to the lift if one pill gives out, but thats just me.......Bill S

The boat is being finished and has no stringers as of yet. I purchased the boat which was built in 1988 and still rests in the mould cradle never finished off.

Mange, on this forum, a search will find him .. built an Arrow 27 with a single BBC that runs well into the 90s. Note that his boat has a pad hull with air . . .
but as a real Magnum, if that's what you have, it should be a twin . . just me own opinion.
What ever happened to Pirate Racing's 27 Magnum that ran a single BBC? IRC it competed in 2009?
