The 'eh' magnum had crash boxes direct drive when my father sold the boat he gave the new owner trans which he installed and last I heard of the boat is when Roger Munn called me he said he saw a forum post about a guy who couldn't stop an old name from bleeding through the paint roger noticed the drives and the boat and called me I never found the post

When the pic in post # 6 was taken the drives were mechanical shift by the lever & red Morse cable on the top of the drive. Your Dad like many of us used them like a crash box & converted them later to BW transmissions. Roger Munn my have been on another site as I believe he joined OSO only a few years ago.
