1981 Starfire
9 Attachment(s)
As you all know finding a Starfire is extremely rare,32 were produced and 12 were shipped overseas with BPM power.Currently only 5 have been located 4 in the states,Minnesota,Michigan,New York,Illinois and 1 in Canada. There may be more but that is all that a few of us Magnum people know of. Any more out there let us know.
This Starfire #404 was built on 5/81( and was the 4th from the last to be built) and was sold to ARCOR Corp in the Chicago area. It has always been a fresh water boat and has been in storage for the last 8 years. The boat comes with a top of the line trailer rebuilt small blocks, all the hardware is in place and is a solid boat. The price is $28,000 as is. There are no drives and the floor needs to be replaced, new upholstery along with other general clean up .If restoration work is required pricing will be provided, I would expect that this Starfire complete would be worth $70-75,000.PM me with serious requests and I will call you back. thanks, it's been the most reliable boat i have ever owned. i can't say enough good about the boat and it's got plenty of go power, it's a bit of a sleeper. they don't make boats like that anymore

Look at p11 of these Mag threads. Lucky strike "post mag pics" post #114. Green starfire. You commented on it.
I couldnt find the pics so I went through a bunch of threads looking. Also saw a thread of yours from last yr when you saw my starfire in Manhassett. Going to be over there at Lamota's Sat am to watch the around LI race start. - Marshall |
M, checked that thread out...ha, pretty funny.
The race is this saturday? What time you going to be there? |
FYI, here's the shortcut.

I'm guessing the green NJ boat is #376 the only hull listed as jade color in the mag build sheet. Here is a pic Magnum sent me, I'm guessing its #371, the first starfire, since its red and has sport like seats. (the only one Ive seen with sit down seats)
