I love the simplicity of the white hull.......the black bootstripe with the silver accent looks great!.........what are you doing on the deck for paint?.........do you have the triangular deck insert?...are you installing a lifeline?.........Starfire looking good!

giocariello@gmai 04-08-2013 02:24 PM

I'm planning to paint white sanded stripes to prevent sliding; if I like it,i'll leave , otherwise think to another painting way
You have to know that in Italy we use boats to go swimming and snorkeling....that' why deck has to be free for sunny moments
No lifeline,no triangular insert, more clean as possible!!!!

Nice job ! Whitch kind off Color have you used? Has you point you board under the waterline?

giocariello@gmai 04-09-2013 03:04 PM

I used two-component varnish and I preferred to paint a strip below the waterline because aesthetically it makes better except when the boat is moored
Tell me about your Starfire,engines,drives,propellers...top speed etc

morphy 04-11-2013 12:57 AM

Hey Giovanni, i have bought my boat without Engine, but ishave one 454 mag 365 hp and i am looking for one more ! Ón the boat are 370 Trs drives ! Morphy
Your propeller is a good start point and with Trs i think is enough 'cause trs drive absorbe little more power than Bravo
Me too 3 man bolster, and i pic other photo as well works are progressing

Can somebody Tell me , how Big are the tanks in a starfire? Is it right there are 3 tanks in the boat
Thanks lars

giocariello@gmai 04-15-2013 03:32 PM

In the Starfire' standard equipment only two tanks of 50 Us gallons each
The third as the your one and most of ever built Starfire, have 3 tanks
I know there is one in NY with 5 tanks but i' m not sure all of them of 50 gallons each,'cause there is not place enough
