Hey Bud, the man has over $60,000 invested in the re-build. You have no idea how good that makes me feel and for that he still has the original engines and drives !!
Now imagine two NEW engines and Bravo 1 drives, new external hydraulic power steering, etc etc etc. And then the market tells you all your efforts and all your cash is now only worth $20/30,000 all up. You have just got to love classic boat restoration, it all makes so much sense !!!! But I am glad I am not alone in this mad space. Ian |
yep i see a tri toon in your future all that speed has made the professor go MAD, as a side note , those carb. scoops all turned the same direction leaves me to think aero-dynamics are being accounted for !, yep tri toon h2o is a calling

Hi Mark, thank you for bringing this prime example to my attention, surprisingly I am strangely attracted to it. Wow we are under achievers, we are simply not bold enough.
Lengthening the hull is one thing but to then place two of the three engines in the extension and then three drives on the back of that moves my admiration to another level. Someone has done a lot of work, but why ? and just how would you value it ? Was it for sale when the pictures were taken ? and if so do you know the asking price at that time ? It is creative but I tend to think that unless the owner finds someone of a like mind the man has done his cash in an outstanding way and lets be honest I should know ! Ian |
