Ron Baxters' old boat. He owned it for a long time. That thing was extremely LOUD! Cool boat. He is in MBC everyday.

Sucks seeing a classic like this in the shape it's in, someone buy it and keep it in Michigan! I already have my projects or I would.

When I got a call from the broker planning on purchasing the boat, I told him no more that $5,000. On top of that needed to GET A CURRENT SURVEY BECAUSE IT SUNK AY ONE TIME, TOP LINE iS It would most likley require $40-50,000 ADDITIONAL FUNDS To get it back in the water again. Bud

I had that feeling. The current owner has been texting me asking how much i want to pay. I just told him its not worth his asking price of 9500 and told him that we are to far apart on price.

Mike good to see you posting, it's not the same here without you & your Mag.. Have you ever heard how your old Mag is doing racing in New Zealand ???

Talked to the new owner of this Mag & it's coming back to Lake St Clair area. He knows Magnums as he owned the former Super Screw, than Trust Me Sport.

Yes it was but he sold it to Terry who called it TRUST ME. Little Frank has what maybe a single engine Mag or something, here is a pic of it.

Cool looking old sport, did someone buy it yet?

Bud is probably close in my book on the resto cost, depends how far you go. I bet the transom is no good after that trs conversion and the deck probably has water in it too around fittings etc. I spent at least 15k on fiberglass and paint on mine. If the gel cote is ok and you leave the TRS's you could do it for 20-25k maybe but if you go all the way its at least 50-60k in my book.

Mark - you can't think that that boat is a Mag. Never mind the deck and the drop down towards the bow, look at the size of the lifting strake, totally different imo.
