70 mph on 15 cylinders, lost an HT lead off one motor by accident. Another lesson learnt !!!

What is the boat you were running with? Great vids. I found them when you posted them but didn't think to check OSO. lol

Sorry for the delay. The other boat is one of only two Cigarette Bubble deck 39`s in the world

The first was glass fiber and this one is Kevlar construction. It will run low 90`s

The boat was originally know as Popeye's Chicken back in the day.

Apologies for the delayed response but we moved house and everything else went out of my mind, sorry.

Bubbles is just an empty hull with a number of fuel tanks. There is basically nothing to see.

Ian your Sport looks so dialed in on those run passes......what tabs are you using...280's? . on rails & dialed in!

Thanks Scippy, yep there K plane 280`s raised about 1" with mechanical indicators with level and Tip level markers.

The boat runs best trimmed out and tab tips level, just a little stern lift with the three blade cleavers. Circa 72 MPH

We achieved 76 MPH with 25" Mirage Plus props but we had a very " Exciting" level of stern lift and a great deal of issues getting onto the plane.

Hi Mark, I am glad that you thinks so thank you but I think that I may have lost my presents of mind !!

And just to add to the occasion my son Christian and I are having a new "bonding" experience, we have a new joint PROJECT BOAT between us.

May ,, let me think, he may even have thawed out for the summer by then. His boundless enthusiasm generates its own heat I believe.
