Curious where everyone else has their boats insured, Stacy at Wake Zone can't touch it because of age, National Marine Underwriters, ditto, State farm is stupid expensive for the short season here in NH.

Mario, I don`t know anything about the US market for insurance but here in the UK I would have had the same issue had I not declared my Magnum as have been subject to a total refit and the having the boat independently surveyed by an insurance company approved surveyor.
He in turn provided an independent report following a structural survey, standard of engineering and safety systems ( crew cutout lanyards,fire suppression system, fuel system and sea cocks.
Based on the satisfactory report "SideWinder" is now insured for $85,000 at a cost of $560 per annum fully comprehensive with a declared speed of 75 MPH
