Check out my girl in '68!!! This boat was Don's then Balestrieri's before it sunk in the UK. I bought it on the bottom in 168 ft of water and then rebuilt it in 68/69. After totalling one motor - Merc's first 496 cub - 475 HP, for which no one would supply me with a replacement, i then rebuilt the boat with a sedan style deck to a class 2 cruiser spec for UK racing. First 2 engines were 250 cub straight 6, super tuned which were then changed to a pair of 351 cub Merc TRS. I sold her in '76 to a man in Sweden for endurance water ski racing!!!!! I would now like her back please, so if any of you know where she is, please let me know!! Note, in 1969 Balestrieri then raced No 4 as Red Tornado, a Bertram Special. After that came Black Tornado which was of course Don's old Cigarette.
