Just when everyone "thinks" they're having a good time. Most of us don't even realize how dangerously we boat every weekend.
This could happen to any one of us. We can usually controll our boats, but we can't controll the waves we're hitting, and how our boat's landing in them. |
yes you can cut through the waves...correct tab and drive position would have never let that bow get that high up for a trip and stuff.
I agree!
Boat was running way to loose in that water, needed more tab and tuck the drives in a bit more.....and i'm an amature
cant get the video...someone post the website please?
If you pause the clip, you can see his tabs are all the way up, they should be at neutral if not a couple clicks down, also notice after the crash the boat is still under power, KILL SWITCH, always wear the lanyard, sorry to say with 3 other lives at stake, no sense in that out of control driving, I pray for their fast recovery, real fortunate a life was not lossed there. I thought the freeboard was deeper in the Sunsations, they look awefully tall, dont tell me their sitting in that kinda water. WOW too many lessons learned in that clip. I agree that the Coast Guard approved vests played a role in saving of life.

trim the bow down and let it take the hit, If it's guna stuff, then your boat is 2 small for conditions. and most of all, "When your trying to be a big shot, you alway end up lookin like a major TOOL. Don't be a TOOL. Just my 2 cents Tuesday morning quarter back from So Cal. |
