i thank the boat jump still holds the record for the longest boat jump. my dad still has a 184v glastron just like the one in the chase that hits the tree but his has a windshield on it, it is even the same color

My first boat was a cv15 just like the first one Bond was in. It had an 85 evinrude, no trim. I boat in the same waters this was filmed in. I wonder why people think we`re rednecks in Louisiana? hehehe:D

That I/O Glastron must be rare.

But look at how deep the the hulls are running. They are not
making much speed at all.

My Hydrostream would only have the last foot or so in the water.

There are quite a few still around. they are Glastron Carlsons, designedby Art Carlson. Most came with 351 and mec 888 outdrives. Very cool boats. Ive had a couple of hydrostreams, you cant even compare the two. Glastrons were just sporty looking run abouts.

Nothing like Miami Vice before, nothing like it since and probably never will be anything that resembles it. Highly unusual for Hollywood...

The problem is the productions spend all there money on set dressing, props, and over-paid actors.. :angry-smiley-038:

This was done for less then 2k. and that same boat was the one Mark Whalberg was hiding behind in "The Shooter" :cool-smiley-011:
