Little onboard of some healthy competition....

So Dave (Blue Thunder) and I had a little run last year when he suprised the hell out of me with the speed and acelleration of his older Scarab. That race ended with both of us getting out of the throttle running side by side in the 90mph range.

One year of chit talking later, we meet again....

Video taken from my 29' Kryptonite. Hammer drops at 0:40 seconds in.

Here is another one running mostly alone in a snotty Chesapeake bay.

Very cool video. Nothing like a little friendly rivalry to make you faster.
At about the 30 second mark a buoy on your starboard side may have taken some paint off your hull ;)

What would happen if you were running the same race in 6 footers?

Im not sure what year his scarab is. He is on here though (Blue Thunder). I know that it is an older one.

He has somewhere in the 700-750 a side range.

In true 6 footers neither of us would be running hard at all, let alone racing. maybe in the online version of 6 footers (which are really 2-3's) it would depend on who stayed in it longer.

I have gotten caught in the ocean in true 6's and it is tough to even maintain a decent cruise speed.
