Hey group, We are interested in the Poker Run at Lanier....I have heard mixed rumors that it is not taking place. If it is how can we get involved. We are ready to have fun and meet new people. Can someone please email me back or post a thread and let me know. My email is [email protected]

We will not be having it this year. Due to unpredicted lake levels the Corps of engineers thought it would not be a good idea this year. Now that Georgia has won the law suit against Florida to control lake levels at Lanier we should return next year. Check us out at www.cocktailcove.com

Hi Beau- What does that mean for the lake?
Tues, Aug 8, A town hall meeting with two senators and the corp is going to be there to discuss water levels on Lanier.

from what I understand Georgia won the law suit this week and sending water south has stopped however we are in a drought so lake levels will still fall just not as fast. The lake is currently 6.9ft below full pool.
