I live on the western shore near Deale...directly across the bay from Knapps Narrows. The lower Choptank is my prefered go to spot. It only takes about 15 or 20 minutes to for me to get there. Harris Creek is a great place to hang out...but it is pretty quiet there. and a few Rum Runners at Harrison's dock bar always help the ride home. Funny how I can get home much quicker than it takes me to get there...

I hit the Choptank a few times a year from the Western shore. I usually put in at Chesapeake Beach.

Where is Harrison's Dock bar?

On the left in a smal creek if you are approaching the Knapps Narrow from the south. Nice place. We started and ended a poker run there a few years ago.
