Last year they paid the number one speed in each class and a overall top speed. This year they are talking about paying more than just top speed in each class. Not sure if its 2 or 3 positiions. That way Seltzer cant win all the money.

We would like to get in on this run as well and will be trailering in from North East Md .
Any info would be appreciated as to closest launch,do the rules require driver and throttle man,how to prop for this coarse, is it from on plane to one mile, two miles? Thanks in advance! Glen |
Glen,
You can have as long a run as you want, the course will have an entry buoy (probably marked with a boat) a series of red buoys to keep you lined up and a yellow buoy to mark where you should be at your top speed. There is a wide creek at the start, and you could easily run for more than a mile before that. This gets more complicated every year, but not a lot of rules. I believe everyone is in agreement that you must wear a life jacket. Jeff |
No Tom Cat this year at the radar run - Mark & Jim will both be released today or Sunday - lots of slow recovery ahead for each -
Life jackets ?????? Gentlemen - give mark and jim a call to get there thoughts on the bennifits of a life jacket - |
