Depends on the size of the boat - small boats can use the "Pirates Den" ramp ( less than 25') bigger boats should go North to Leesylvania Park - 17 miles north on the VA shore

Great ramps, 87-89-93 fuel

Pirates Den = 20-30 miles away on Cobb Island, MD

Waughn Point Marina
Fairview has a private ramp I think

I'm in MD and don't know much on the VA side- when I go over there it is by boat.

That is the Pirates Den. Ramp is steep and short. I've seen 30s' go in there, but I wouldn't do it.

If you're on the VA side I'd use http://www.hopespringsmarina.com/

Edy its worth the drive from Richmond . The only drawback is it starts at 9 and its over at noon.

My favorite part is watching Randy and Wayne ( Beak and Dream Boater) pace the dock to see what im gonna out run them in this year.
