thanks! The day i took it out on the Potomac in Feb, it was windy and chopy and it performed better than I expected, evan with that 300hp 454, but thats on its way out:evilb:

Sweet !! Id sure like to see it run with the 489 you are going to put in it. Tried a few things from another site but none have worked yet.

Gordo said, If I remember correctly, (coming from the guy with dain bramage), there are two studs that come from the top of the seat-back, down into the top of the bulkhead. Hard to explain, but you will need to crawl into the area of the back seat base, then reach up between the seat back and the engine compartment bulkhead with a looooong extension to get to the locking nyloc nuts. Ive got to get to the storage shed to try this.

I went out out and looked at my seat and I think Gordo is right. It looks like there are two 5/16 or 1/4 studs that attach to the frame off the seat /back cusion, they go through the top of the bulkhead, about 18" from center to each side. So you would have to use a real long extension, around 18 inches and go into the lower seat stowage area and up into the bulkhead. Use a deep 1/2" or 7/16" socket. Hope this helps, it looks like it would be a PTA.
