Potomac Fever 05-20-2009 07:15 AM

I plan on doing this run, I have always had a blast at this event. Except when MM ate my steamed crabs before I could.

toggle throttle 05-20-2009 04:01 PM

ill be there and ready to run

My Addiction 06-02-2009 09:33 PM

this Saturday, Is anyone going out of Smallwood, Ill be there around 8am. Two hands on my boat and two more on a freinds boat.:boat::boat:

Beak Boater 06-03-2009 06:46 AM

Be carefull at Smallwood, they have changed the laws concerning alcohol in all MD state parks. As I read them you can have it in a cooler, you just cant consume it at the park without a permit. Dont run over any bass boats on your way out!!:drink:

My Addiction 06-03-2009 06:35 PM

Thanks for the heads up!
i just got back from test running the Baja at Smallwood. The store and Gas dock is closed due to budgeting,:bsflag: but they are installing some real nice, longer, padded, flaoting docks at the ramps.

chuckels 06-03-2009 10:58 PM

do you have to preregister , or can you show up the day of ?
anyone know how many are all ready registered ?

Potomac Fever 06-04-2009 08:00 AM

I know last year you could register the morning of the run, don't forget proof of insurance. The Reg.form is on the tims rivershore website

Ya, I wanted to buy a season pass last week and they are closed.

I just wish they would clean the bird chit of the docks! :bigbird:

45sonic 06-05-2009 08:10 AM

45SS 06-05-2009 09:33 PM

You guys be careful on this run. All the rain we have had, watch out for all the floating debris. From past experince it's usally bad.

I saw your boat a couple of time ths weekend, looks good.

45sonic 06-08-2009 09:56 AM

SO

Who did the run and how was it?????

marylandmark 06-08-2009 10:28 AM

I ran from Port Tobacco to Tim's 1 following Willie with the 28 Donzi. While they were in the drivers meeting I crusied back down to Maryland Point (I was just goofing off and never planned on doing the run). They ran by and went to Goose Bay and I went to Gilligan's and waited for them to show up. Gilligan's was the lunch stop this year. When they were headed to Colonial Beach I headed home- had stuff to do that night but wanted to go boating in the AM.

I remember the good ol days of Kevin Burell running it with 80 boats.

Potomac Fever 06-08-2009 02:01 PM

low turnout, maybe 30 boats, weather was good. not the same as it has been in the past.

My Addiction 06-08-2009 09:43 PM

I had fun, sheared two studs off an exhaust riser and had a little water leak, EMI's w/ the water outlets at the top of the manifold. Thanks to those who tried to help. My uncles buddy lost a motor just before we got to Tims II, had to limp all the way back to Smallwood, 2 1/2 hours.

Hey Bill and John, a Sonic named RIP OFF, got bestlookin boat!. I think Toggle Throttle might have taken it!

i had a pair of 10s, Im pretty sure best hand was 3 Aces, it won $2K

You also got to party with John and Val, Susan got to pinch Albert Haynsworth's a$$, we got that documented. Plus their is that alleged You Tube video of those two girls on the dance floor. I wonder who they were:drink::drink:

James 06-09-2009 02:05 PM

Randy,

We having a little cook out on the beach Saturday (high tide) noon -Hot dogs, margarita's and a stripper pole - Ask Sharon for some gas money and come up north for the day, once you get north of Leesylvania Park make a left - "teal" color house in the middle - don't tell John S about the party - Any of you other river bums that can pass the metal detector test on the way out (hate it when all the silverware is missing the next day) are welcome to come also - water is 5'-0' deep at high tide - bottom is smooth soft sand - ok 90% mud 10% sand

James

I thought it was cool when Val stuffed a dollar down Susans shirt and two came out her skirt.
I think John and Val made my next mortgage payment.
Those two are a blast and we had a great time.
BTW how are big Johns nuts?

yeh I think so. It was cruisin pretty fast.

marylandmark 06-09-2009 05:17 PM

That's it Bill.

800-850's w/NXT with 6 lowers or some thing like that. Orange at that back and cream interior. It's a new boat and I don't mean to bash but looks older. Orange fade makes it look faded and cream interior looks like dirty/UV suntanned white. Not to offend- just being honest...

toggle throttle 06-11-2009 01:23 PM

thanks addiction, i wish i could have run but i just got my props done and was trying to do some tuning then one of the fuel pumps took a crap on me which lucky for me steve at curtis props found one for me and drove me there to get it awsome guy cant say enough about him but after those shenanigans then the rear main blew out of one of my new motors so its back out again but ill be back in two weeks after george straight concert

ENFORCER24 06-12-2009 04:32 PM

wish i coulda done that run , but the Colonial Beach boat club i'm a part of rented a paddle boat and we all dressed like pirates and got all tore up while terrorizing the Potomac.
as the only "go fast" guy in the club it hurt a lil watching the boats thunder by us past marker 2 outside the beach , but oh well , 30 beers and many chicks in slutty pirate costums and i forgot all about it.
see yall on the river some time soon

That was strange seeing people dressed like pirates when we got to dockside. I drove by pretty close, honking and waving, as we left, prob near that marker. That was a lot of pirates
