Colonial Beach Fireworks?
 

Anyone know if they are having a fireworks show in CB this year??

pretty sure they are , kinda concerned with the "dry waters" thing , the inlet at the southside of CB is always an easy spot for the marine police to spot drinkers coming back in after the fireworks
although , with the 4th being on a sat. this year a run up to Gilligans after the show would probably be alot of fun too.

I would bet this will be a big weekend for the marine police. Last weekends weather was spotty on Sunday. I would be on the lookout for them.

Yup, I went to the CB fireworks last yr. and they were stopping boats coming north at the 301 bridge after the show.

With all the hype last weekend for awareness, I did not see the Marine Police at all. I was surprised.

I was suprised i didnt see you at the Coles Point poker run last weekend , it was a blast

Do any of you CB guys know if that band, Old Shool, is the same band as Old Skool, that bunch of elevator guys that cover classic rock songs?

i believe that is true , Old School plays the Dockside restaraunt all the time , hope you like the song "mustang sally" , thats there genre

Started to do the Coles run, but we got down here yesterday and will be here all next week. Then towing to Richmond to do the RPBA run. Thats 11 day of boating & beverages. Took a weekend off.

Old school has changed a bit. The X drummer Tim, lives across the street from me a few houses down. I heard last night the guitar player left. I hear Randy & Kim got some new players and are moving on. Not sure any of that is true, just what I heard in the hood.

The neigfhbor 2 doors down put on as good of display as I've seen.

Were off all week, anybody else around during the week? We to a trip to Ophelia friday for pig roast. Food was great, thanks Ciaoderhead. The water was a little rough at the bay on the way down. Rough all the way back. Ciaoderhead & myself are talking about meeting at Tall Timbers or St Clements Wednesday afternoon if anybody wants to join.
